I've always wanted to be able to draw ships, not really sure why, so when I found a 1980's children's book on Ships and Boats at the outdoor book shop in Hay on Wye the other day I snapped it up for a small donation.
Then yesterday I spent ages trawling through and picking out my favourite bits of ships and merging them together, hence why (if you're a big ship expert) you will probably see a mix of 17th century sails with influences from 1400 Mediterranean ships.
okay, so these are definitely my fave pieces of yours.... you know how i feel about ships. and i think i need to come to this outdoor book shop with you. missing your face xoxo
